South African singer-songwriter Charlie Harris dives deep into raw emotion with his haunting new single, “Living Without Hope” — a track that captures the stillness and solitude of heartbreak.

Produced by longtime collaborator Robin Walsh, the 3-minute track is a sparse, slow-burning meditation on how sadness can quietly infiltrate our daily lives. Carried by Charlie’s intimate vocals and unfiltered songwriting, Living Without Hope doesn’t dress up the truth — it sits in it.

    “It’s a song to share how we all sometimes feel,” says Charlie. “That quiet ache when sadness and loneliness take over your every thought, and it feels like you’re living without any hope. I wanted to put that into words — not for sympathy, but for solidarity.”

Following his warmly received single When Are You Coming Home?, and the folk-rock optimism that defined his earlier albums Digital Dust Side A and B, this new track signals a shift toward a starker, more reflective sound. Following the success of Side A’s haunting first single, “Charlie No Face,” Side B dives deeper into Harris’s world of lyrical storytelling, introspective themes, and a search for meaning within life’s most fleeting moments.

“Produced by Robin Walsh, ‘Catching Rainbows” captures Harris’s poetic sensibility, exploring the allure of chasing dreams and embracing life’s unexpected twists. Charlie Harris, the main singer songwriter of Keep Guessing, hails from the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa. His music is a unique blend of folk-rock, seasoned with a dash of introspection and a whole lot of heart. But Charlie’s journey into music wasn’t a straight path—it was a winding road filled with self-discovery, hundreds of songs, and the relentless pursuit of authenticity.

The first single, “Charlie No Face,” is inspired by the tragic story of Raymond Robinson, a man who became an urban legend after a childhood accident left him disfigured. Charlie was moved by the tale of Robinson, who only ventured out at night, hiding his face in the shadows.
