Christian Thanbichler’s journey into music is as fascinating as his sound. A former editor for a daily newspaper and TV news, as well as a publisher of a weekly paper and a media service for mining stocks, he eventually left the industry behind to follow his true passion. Now living near the breathtaking Bavarian Alps, he fully embraces music and creativity.

His early work focused on world and ambient music, inspired by his mountain hiking and climbing videos. With his fourth album, Grounded, he introduced jazzy elements, a direction he continued in Unchained Melodic Journey. Seeking a broader audience, he infused a more commercial edge into his sixth album, Broken, and further refined this approach in Apart. Currently, he is working on his eighth album, set for release in early 2026.
