Album of The Month: Veritas Lit – Until the End – Epic Dark Alternative Rock Arrives on Our Playlist

Brighton, Sussex alternative rock powerhouse Veritas Lit return with their highly anticipated full-length album Until the End, released on 30 January 2026. After a run of acclaimed singles that have made serious waves across the alternative rock world, the band now delivers a complete, immersive album experience that feels bold, epic, and unapologetically modern.

Until the End is a majestic and emotionally charged journey through dark alternative rock. From slow-burning, cinematic ballads to full-throttle rock anthems, the album is packed with atmosphere, melody, and depth. Ethereal and beautiful yet shadowed with mystery, it is eerie, touching, and made for listeners who crave substance in modern rock. Fans will already recognise global favourites such as Burn the Bridges, Eternity, Veins of Light, Sanctuary of the Lost, and Ruins, alongside brand new tracks that complete a powerful 13-track statement. This is an album that brings rock back to life and rewards a full start-to-finish listen.

The sound of Veritas Lit is epic and melodic at its core, blending dark alternative rock with grand, anthemic arrangements, subtle gothic tones, and flashes of folk and hard rock. Every track lingers, either stuck in your head or hitting you right in the chest. It is a true return to the magic of the album as an experience, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in a cinematic new rock chapter from England.

To celebrate the release, we are running a 2-track radio special featuring two of the album’s standout favourites right now: Burn the Bridges and Prima Ballerina. Both tracks will be spinning night and day on our playlist and featured as a special ROCK POWERPLAY at 3:30 PM Pacific USA time for the next month.

With Until the End, Veritas Lit take a major leap forward, cementing their status as one of the UK’s most cinematic, emotionally powerful, and compelling alternative rock acts today.

The Thunder Corpses Unleash Gritty Anthem “The Skies of London” Now on Hollywood FM Playlist

Crashing onto our A-List Playlist is the electrifying new single “The Skies of London” by Balkan underground icons The Thunder Corpses.

Raw yet melodic, this track fuses gritty alt-rock guitars with a deep goth-tinged vocal and an undeniably catchy chorus. Wrapped in a sleek, immersive wall-of-sound production, it delivers everything you want from modern indie alternative — bold, dark, and unforgettable.

Catch “The Skies of London” spinning day and night on the A-List, and don’t miss it as our exclusive ALTERNATIVE POWERPLAY at 7:30 PM Pacific USA time — airing daily for the next month.

Balkan underground legends The Thunder Corpses are re-emerging with a powerful new release: a remastered version of their fan-favorite single “The Skies of London”, leading the charge into their upcoming box set compilation, Songs We Died To.

The track is a modern alternative groove built on a solid beat and sharp guitar stabs, quickly evolving into a wall of indie noise. With deep, storytelling vocals and a busy rhythmic bassline, the song moves seamlessly between ethereal textures and fast-paced, gothic-tinged alt-rock. Think early The Damned, Joy Division, or Jesus and Mary Chain, but reimagined with a slick, contemporary production reminiscent of Artemis. It’s gritty, addictive, and steeped in shoegaze textures with a darker, more urgent edge.

Formed in the shadowy corners of the Balkan garage-surf scene, The Thunder Corpses gained early recognition with their debut album Somewhere Over the Black Bay. Their sound, an atmospheric mix of psychedelic pop, surf rock, and punk-infused garage, was praised for its raw energy and moody undertones. Serbian daily Danas hailed them as “one of the most promising bands in the region,” spotlighting their unique fusion of lo-fi aesthetics and genre-defying songwriting.

Both Somewhere Over the Black Bay and their follow-up This earned spots in Balkanrock’s “Best Regional Releases” list, a rare feat for any underground band. While their approach has always leaned toward DIY and anti-commercialism, the group still managed to reach international audiences, including their first U.S. radio airplay on KUCI FM in California.

Now, they’re set to release their most ambitious project yet. The upcoming box set, Songs We Died To, will compile carefully remastered versions of standout tracks from across their discography. At the heart of this collection is “The Skies of London,” newly polished but still retaining the hazy, emotionally detached atmosphere that first won fans over. It’s a song that perfectly encapsulates the band’s core: hypnotic, restrained, cinematic, and deeply personal.

Key Dates:

  • “The Skies of London” (Remastered) drops on July 13
  • Songs We Died To full box set releases on July 31

This box set serves not just as a compilation but as a testament to the band’s journey through the underground, capturing the raw moods and sonic evolution that have defined their sound.
