Catch “The Skies of London” spinning day and night on the A-List, and don’t miss it as our exclusive ALTERNATIVE POWERPLAY at 7:30 PM Pacific USA time — airing daily for the next month.

Balkan underground legends The Thunder Corpses are re-emerging with a powerful new release: a remastered version of their fan-favorite single “The Skies of London”, leading the charge into their upcoming box set compilation, Songs We Died To.

The track is a modern alternative groove built on a solid beat and sharp guitar stabs, quickly evolving into a wall of indie noise. With deep, storytelling vocals and a busy rhythmic bassline, the song moves seamlessly between ethereal textures and fast-paced, gothic-tinged alt-rock. Think early The Damned, Joy Division, or Jesus and Mary Chain, but reimagined with a slick, contemporary production reminiscent of Artemis. It’s gritty, addictive, and steeped in shoegaze textures with a darker, more urgent edge.

Formed in the shadowy corners of the Balkan garage-surf scene, The Thunder Corpses gained early recognition with their debut album Somewhere Over the Black Bay. Their sound, an atmospheric mix of psychedelic pop, surf rock, and punk-infused garage, was praised for its raw energy and moody undertones. Serbian daily Danas hailed them as “one of the most promising bands in the region,” spotlighting their unique fusion of lo-fi aesthetics and genre-defying songwriting.

Both Somewhere Over the Black Bay and their follow-up This earned spots in Balkanrock’s “Best Regional Releases” list, a rare feat for any underground band. While their approach has always leaned toward DIY and anti-commercialism, the group still managed to reach international audiences, including their first U.S. radio airplay on KUCI FM in California.

Now, they’re set to release their most ambitious project yet. The upcoming box set, Songs We Died To, will compile carefully remastered versions of standout tracks from across their discography. At the heart of this collection is “The Skies of London,” newly polished but still retaining the hazy, emotionally detached atmosphere that first won fans over. It’s a song that perfectly encapsulates the band’s core: hypnotic, restrained, cinematic, and deeply personal.

Key Dates:

  • “The Skies of London” (Remastered) drops on July 13
  • Songs We Died To full box set releases on July 31

This box set serves not just as a compilation but as a testament to the band’s journey through the underground, capturing the raw moods and sonic evolution that have defined their sound.

Co.Lega’s “Humans” Takes Over as Hollywood’s A-List Alternative Powerplay of the Month

Brace yourself — Co.Lega’s blazing new single Humans has just stormed onto the A-List Playlist, where it’s shaking the system every few hours and firing up the ALTERNATIVE POWERPLAY at 3 PM Pacific USA time slot for the month.
Raw, reckless, and razor-sharp, Humans is a post-modern punk meltdown wrapped in a glitchy indie pop shell.

With sonic echoes of goth-punk legends like Alien Sex Fiend, Sex Gang Children, The Cramps and Adam and the Ants filtered through a modern, futuristic lens, this track is an instant alternative classic—frenetic, catchy, and impossibly cool.

“Humans” is taken from Co.Lega’s spellbinding new EP, Nobody Goes to Heaven—a project that defies genre and logic with an immersive mix of dreamy futuristic ballads, electro-pop experiments, and glitchy post-pop chaos. Each track flows like a memory from a parallel dimension, oscillating between haunting ambience and euphoric rebellion.

Co.Lega, the mysterious force behind the sound, describes the project as “music that floats in your periphery and shows up when you’re most unguarded.” Co-produced with experimental producer Mr. Ho, and featuring the otherworldly vocals of Silke, the EP creates an emotional landscape where futuristic ballads and cyber-anarchy coexist in harmony.

Nobody Goes to Heaven recently entered the NACC Top 30 Electronic Chart at #14, with over 20 daily U.S. radio spins—proof of its growing underground impact.

From heart-piercing synthscapes to post-punk adrenaline, the EP offers listeners a ride through sonic dreams and dystopian visions. The dreamy futuristic ballads are intimate and cinematic, pulling listeners into a digital dreamworld where heartbreak, hope, and transformation collide.

Now, with “Humans” lighting up London FM’s A-List, global audiences can experience the full emotional spectrum of Co.Lega’s work—punk anthems with soul, ballads with circuitry, and a sound that doesn’t just grab attention, it reprograms it.
